Pam and Jim forever! Jenna Fischer is still smitten with her longtime friend and former costar on The Office, John Krasinski. The You, Me and the Apocalypse actress opened up about their “real chemistry” during Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, January 20.
Fischer and Krasinski, 36, starred on the NBC comedy for nine seasons from 2005 to 2013. Their beloved characters worked at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company and fell in love after three seasons of pining. They eventually married in season 6 and had two kids.
“There is a real part of me that’s Pam and a real part of him that’s Jim. And those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another,” Fischer, 41, explained to one WWHL caller. “But in real life we aren’t totally Pam and totally Jim. So, in real life, we aren’t the perfect match.”
“It’s a really complicated thing, but, I mean, he was like a type of spouse that I had for a long time. He was my partner,” she continued. “We will always be close because of it.”
During WWHL, Fischer also played a cute game about her Office costars and was asked about Krasinski’s new buff body. (As previously reported, the hunky star bulked up for his new drama 13 Hours.)
“It’s incredible! He looks good. He looks really, really good,” she said. “I saw him in person, and he looks really good.”
