Get it together! Jaimie Alexander was not pleased when the person working the teleprompter at the 2016 Golden Globes made a mistake.
The Blindspot actress, 31, and Amber Heard had to briefly pause on stage while presenting the Best Actor in a Limited Series category on Sunday, January 10.
“Are we supposed to be saying something?” Alexander said on stage, as she and Heard awaited their cues. “La, la, la, la!”
Heard, 29, replied: “Oh, it’s your turn.”
Alexander said “here are the nominees” before she quipped: “Dude, who’s typing this s–t?”
The awkward moment received plenty of laughs from the audience. Eventually, the duo read the list of nominees, with Oscar Isaac taking home the win for his work in Show Me a Hero.
Other Golden Globes blunders in the past have included Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie’s teleprompter flub in 2014 and Andrew Garfield in 2011. The Amazing Spider-Man actor had a tough time saying the word “inspiringly” at the time.
