Hello from the other side? HBO released a new Game of Thrones season 6 promo on Sunday, February 14, that teases the fate of several key figures, including the seemingly dead Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
The spot is set in the House of Black and White, where the faces of a number of deceased characters — including Snow, Ned Stark (Sean Bean), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) and Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) — morbidly line the halls.
“The long night is coming, and the dead come with it,” Snow says in voiceover.
The faces of several still-living characters — including Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) — are also shown, which could suggest that the season will see another pivotal death, or perhaps that Snow’s demise isn’t necessarily permanent.
Snow’s future has been the subject of rampant fan speculation for months. The beloved character seemed to perish last season after he was stabbed numerous times by his brothers of the Night’s Watch, but he continues to appear in marketing for the hit series’ sixth season, including a teaser released in December.

Game of Thrones returns on HBO on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. EST.
