Dia Frampton may have been a frontrunner going into Wednesday's finale of The Voice, but the 23-year-old singer says she couldn't be more thrilled placing second to champ Javier Colon.
"I never thought I would be standing next to a singer like Javier. I felt really honored," Team Blake's Frampton told Us Weekly backstage after the winner was announced. "When Javier was singing with Stevie Nicks, I was [backstage] bawling. I'm a fan!"
Frampton wasn't the only one singing Colon's praises to Us.
"Just based on sheer talent, voice and power, we all knew he was the best singer," Colon's coach, Adam Levine told Us backstage. Added coach Blake Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert: "The first minute Javier opened his mouth during the blind auditions, I was like, 'that's your winner!'"
