Talk about a fashion disaster! TLC’s new show, Dare to Wear, has two ensembly challenged women on the opposite ends of the spectrum swap clothing and literally walk in each other’s shoes.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek of the new show, style expert Tai Beauchamp has heel-loving Mary trade clothes with a more conservative dresser. The flannel, gaucho pants, and cowboy boots look isn’t exactly the right wardrobe for a pole dancing fitness class, and Mary has a hard time feeling sexy in her new getup.
“Everyone else is in their sexy clothes. They’re looking at me and laughing,” Mary laments.
Her friend Washawna agreed that the oversized button-down wasn’t exactly the right ensemble. “This is not you, but if you could do something like this,” she suggested.
Beauchamp’s goal in having the women swap wardrobes is to see another side of themselves while gaining understanding and insight into the way others dress, and helping to transform their own wardrobes.
