Bristol Palin has no regrets about her short-lived stint on Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars.
After the 21-year-old single mom was voted off the ABC reality series October 16, Palin and pro partner Mark Ballas appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss what led to their elimination. "I think I was optimistic about every week. I'd never been in the actual bottom two, so it was hard to process it all, but it is what it is," Palin said. "Good luck to everyone else."
Despite a minor spat earlier this season, Ballas said he was honored to work with the Alaskan native a second time. (They first competed together in 2010 during season 11.)
"Every season, at some point, the couples fight. . . It's always over something stupid. This is our second time dancing together. We did our first season a couple years ago and made it all the way to the finals," the 26-year-old said. "For us to get through a season and a third of a season and to have our first little predicament, I thought that was pretty cool."
Palin also appeared on Good Morning America October 17, where she assured viewers she wasn't heartbroken after being sent home in the fourth week of competition. "I'm glad we went out with decent scores, and we made an improvement," she said.
The Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far author added that her son, Tripp, 3, was proud of her performances. "He had a blast. He's going to look back on this and think it's just hilarious," Palin said. "I'm glad that I did it, and I'm glad that he's gotten to be a part of it."
