Keeping up with Rob and Blac! Rob Kardashian‘s surprise engagement to Blac Chyna has been a key story line on this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and a source tells Us Weekly that the former model will soon make her first appearance on the E! unscripted series.
According to the source, Chyna, 28, is currently filming for the show, with another insider telling Us that she and Rob, 29, filmed scenes for KUWTK at Khloé Kardashian‘s 32nd birthday party in Hollywood on Monday, June 27.
Though Chyna has yet to be seen on the long-running show, she is discussed on it quite a bit, especially as his family dealt with the shock of finding out about her engagement to Rob through social media. News of the proposal first broke April 5, when the couple posted pics of the makeup artist wearing her 7-carat diamond engagement ring.
Rob and Chyna will presumably have plenty of time to get used to appearing as a couple in front of TV cameras. The lovebirds’ own E! docuseries, tentatively titled “Rob & Chyna,” is set to debut later this year and will center on the couple’s prepping to welcome their first child together. The model announced her pregnancy in May, and a source told Us that she is due in October.
A recently released clip from KUWTK‘s Sunday, July 3, episode shows Kris Jenner warming to the idea of of her son marrying the makeup artist.
“Just being with them, and hearing what they had to say, and seeing how in love they are, is amazing,” the momager says in the sneak peek.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on E! Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
