The backdoor blues? Big Brother contestant Victor Arroyo insists that he didn’t feel blindsided when he was kicked off the CBS series’ Thursday, July 7, episode. The Louisiana native, who was voted out 9-to-1, opens up exclusively with Us Weekly about his time in the house — and his rocky relationship with cast member Natalie Negrotti.
“The person who started the most drama with me was Natalie, who was on my initial alliance,” Arroyo, 25, tells Us. He quips, “Thank you, Natalie.”
Natalie often complained about Victor in the diary room for being too opinionated. Victor had no idea how she truly felt, however, until he was sitting with Julie Chen.
“I do regret that she feels that [way],” he tells Us. “Anything that I said wasn’t meant to be disrespectful. I apologize if it was.”

US WEEKLY: If you could have a do-over, who would you align with?
VICTOR ARROYO: I would still align myself with Jozea, but maybe some other girls in the house. Maybe not Natalie. She wasn’t very effective in our alliance – she didn’t really do anything.
US: On a scale of 1 to 10, how blindsided did you feel?
VA: I wasn’t blindsided at all. When I went up on the block, I knew without a shadow of a doubt I’d be evicted that week. When I wasn’t on the block initially, I called backdoor, and that’s what happened.
US: You told Frank and Paulie you hoped they weren’t playing you. Did you see any people’s alliances cracking before you left?
VA: Actually no, they held pretty strong. I didn’t see a break at all, especially since I’m out. They did a great job keeping it under wraps.
US: Was there anyone in the house you would have had a showmance with to help your game?
VA: No.
