Prove to Us you’ve got some coordination! Beyoncé lit up the Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, February 7, during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. Her seemingly flawless performance of her new hit, “Formation,” had one widely debated moment in which some deigned to speculate that the Queen Bey had briefly stumbled.
After her bold entrance on the field, Beyoncé, 34, and her dancers made their way (in their heeled boots) onto the stage to show off some fierce moves.
At one point, the pop diva squatted down and appeared to almost fall. But instead of landing on her famous booty, she jumped back a step and popped up like it had been her intention the entire time.
This two-second moment caused an online debate that brought out some of the BeyHive’s most intense stans.
“When Beyonce almost falls but then you realize the laws of gravity doesn’t apply to her,” @Everette tweeted.
“I hope everyone wakes up tomorrow &has a day like Beyoncé catching herself in heels right before she falls &pulling it off like the queen,’ @Gabbyglitter added.
Many used the moment as inspiration for the coming week.
“If Beyoncé can survive a wobble in heels, you can survive Monday. STYLE IT OUT,” @RyanJL wrote.
Bey went on to complete her set with Bruno Mars and Coldplay, singing along to Mars’ hit “Uptown Funk” and closing out the show with a large choir.
Tell Us: Do you think Beyoncé fell or was it part of the show?
