Further proof that it’s not all girls who run the world, but one Miss Beyonce Knowles herself: Bey covers this year’s Time 100 Most Influential People issue, unveiled on Thursday, April 24.
The Grammy-winning singer, 32, stuns on the publication’s front in a fully sheer T-shirt over a white two-piece bikini. She looks natural with her hair straightened and parted down the middle and minimal makeup.
Knowles is profiled in the issue by Lean In author and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who celebrated the success of her surprise self-titled album, the wrap of her sold-out tour, and her strong sense of ambition.
“Beyonce doesn’t just sit at the table,” Sandberg writes. “She builds a better one.”
The wife to rapper Jay Z is joined on the list by heavyweights across the worlds of entertainment, politics, sports, and innovation. Other notables to receive the honor include rumored presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, producer and performer Pharrell Williams, actor Robert Redford, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and tennis titan Serena Williams.
