Don’t mess with Batman.
Henry Cavill cracked that he isn’t a fan of his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costar Ben Affleck. The British actor, who is reprising his role as the Man of Steel in the upcoming film, joked about an on-set feud during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, March 17.
“I just didn’t like him. Just genuine dislike,” Cavill, 32, told the late-night host. “You know, that happens. Then you become lovers and make videos with each other.”
Welp, Cavill may have had his reasons. Affleck, who plays Batman, covered Cavill’s dressing room with every Batman toy, mug and poster imaginable this week. (The room may have just been part of a gag; the movie wrapped months ago.)
“@HenryCavill, I’m flattered,” he captioned a video via Facebook. “I didn’t know you were such a fan! We know #WhoWillWin.”
“We redecorated Henry’s room,” he said, while signing a poster of their movie and drawing glasses on Cavill’s character. “I think he’ll appreciate it. I think it’s much better this way.”
Affleck and Cavill’s superheroes are rivals in the adventure fantasy Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It hits theaters on Friday, March 25.
