Struggling in the meat market? The Bachelorette season 12 villain and cold-cut aficionado Chad Johnson already got the boot from JoJo Fletcher, and Michelle Money tells Us Weekly exclusively that his antics are likely to hurt his dating life down the road too.
Money, who currently stars on We TV’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, competed for Brad Womack’s affection on The Bachelor season 15, where she had issues with a number of the other ladies in the house. She later started a relationship with Graham Bunn on Bachelor Pad season 2, and then Cody Sattler on Bachelor in Paradise season 1. (Sattler appears with her on Marriage Boot Camp, though they are not married.)
Money, 35, thinks Johnson “has some anger issues, clearly.” She adds that his unflattering spats with Fletcher’s men will “absolutely” make dating tougher for him in the real world.
In an Instagram post earlier this month, Johnson said he finally started watching his season and now understands “why some people hate me.”
As for how getting antagonized on the show affects someone’s day-to-day life, Money says, “It just depends on the person and how they’re able to overcome it. There’s a lot of good that comes with having to deal with people hating on you. If you can work through that on your own, there’s a lot of strength that comes with that — thick skin and kind of not caring as much what people think of you.”
Money — who is currently teaching online courses on how women can master their best makeup look (click here for details) — says she doubts she would ever date someone else from the show (not a good sign, Cody!). But she does think Fletcher has plenty of top-notch options.
“There are some really good guys,” she says about this season. “I think Jordan and JoJo seem like they have a good connection. I like Robby — he’s cute.”
Money points out that she has heard the rumors that Jordan was hoping for fame from appearing on the show, but she doesn’t think Fletcher should be overly concerned.
“I’ve heard things floating around, but those things always happen,” Money adds.
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs on We TV Fridays at 9 p.m. ET. The Bachelorette airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
