Maybe warm milk really does make people sleepy? Since JoJo Fletcher gave him the boot from The Bachelorette season 12, villain and milk enthusiast Chad Johnson has used a pickup line about joining him for a nap, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
The source tells Us that the luxury real estate agent, 28, recently reached out to her friend through Twitter before sending along his phone number via direct message.
The next day, Johnson invited the woman to his room, adding, “Come nap w me.”
ABC declined to comment on this story.
This is a stark contrast from the persona he conveyed in a recently released promo for Bachelor in Paradise season 3. In the clip of him explaining why he’s going on Paradise, Johnson said he has been spending all his time with his dog.
“I’m really coming here to meet somebody — that’s why I’m coming back, because I haven’t met anybody yet,” Johnson says. “I went back home after The Bachelorette and sat with my dog — I worked every day, and that’s all I did. That’s all I do. … Being an entrepreneur is boring without a girl.”
Johnson butted heads with the other season 12 men throughout his stint on Fletcher’s season. He boasted during the Men Tell All special on Tuesday, July 26, about having gotten cozy with Robby Hayes‘ ex-girlfriend Hope and Grant Kemp‘s ex Jen.
The Bachelorette season 12 finale airs on ABC Monday, August 1, at 8 p.m. ET. Bachelor in Paradise season 3 debuts on ABC Tuesday, August 2, at 8 p.m. ET.
