If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! Ben Higgins left one woman heartbroken when he chose between JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell on the season 20 finale of ABC’s The Bachelor. But the jilted lady is getting another chance at love — as the next Bachelorette!

As Chris Harrison announced during the After the Final Rose special on Monday, March 14, Higgins’ runner-up, 24-year-old Fletcher, will have her pick of eligible bachelors on season 12 of The Bachelorette. (Second runner-up Caila Quinn was initially tapped for the gig, but proved to be a polarizing choice among viewers.)
Fletcher, meanwhile, became a fan favorite this season. After the finale, many people took to Twitter to lament the fact that Higgins, 26, chose Bushnell, 25, over the real estate developer from Dallas, Texas. Others celebrated the news that she’d be back on their screens in just a few months’ time.
