Two “I love yous” are better than one? The Bachelor‘s Ben Higgins couldn’t stop saying the L-word on the ABC dating series’ Monday, February 29, episode — and the show’s fans were understandably freaking out on social media.
“I never thought in my life I could be in love with two people at one time, but I am,” Higgins told the camera about his unprecedented move for a star of the venerable franchise. “After telling two women that I’m in love with them, I’m in a state of shock because my heart’s in two different places.”
The episode — ending with a rose ceremony in which both Lauren B. and JoJo firmly believed they would be his final pick — led to a flurry of Twitter responses. Even celebs such as Jenny McCarthy and Bachelor Nation’s Sean Lowe shared their disbelief with pics, gifs and quips.
