One more shot? Baby Daddy‘s Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) is so busy trying desperately to mend things with a mysterious lady friend that he misses Riley’s stealthy toddler-swiping operation in the Wednesday, July 13, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The Freeform comedy series’ preview clip shows Ben conferring with roommate Tucker (Tahj Mowry) about how to patch things up with an unidentified woman they refer to as “Note Girl.”
When Ben asks Tucker if he can still win her heart despite the minor detail of not knowing who she is, his journalist pal replies, “You’re going to write her a note. Yep, you are going to write her a note, and you are going to beg her for a second chance, right? Just tell her you will meet her at the bar, and just put the note in the chair.”
“Maybe something like, ‘Truly sorry I missed you last night — please give me a second chance,'” Tucker offers. “You know, something like that. But maybe a little bit longer.”
Ben is so distracted by the mystery woman that he doesn’t realize Tucker is covering for Riley (Chelsea Kane), who simultaneously sneaks into the apartment to abscond with Emma.
After she slips out with Ben’s daughter, Tucker informs his friend, “Oh, almost forgot to tell you — Riley came by earlier to pick up Emma to take her to preschool, so no need to follow up on that story.”
