What’s a girl gotta do?! Emily Brooke, a semifinalist on American Idol’s final season, took to Twitter on Tuesday, March 29, to reveal she can’t get tickets to the finale.
“So this upcoming week is sad. 1) dont have tickets to the @ACMawards & 2) dont have tickets to @AmericanIdol finale 😭 #musicdepression 😂,” the top 24 finalist of season 15 tweeted.
Fans then offered to give her their tickets if they happen to win any, and another suggested that she try to sign up to be in the on-camera audience section.
“@emilybrooke @ACMawards @AmericanIdol Emily have you checked out @OnCamAudiences for american idol tickets, put your name on wait list,” the follower tweeted at Brooke, who revealed that she’s already tried that and has “been on list since hollywood week.”
“American Idol didn’t give you tickets?” another fan asked, seemingly confused. “No we don’t get them,” the former contestant explained.
The 17-year-old singer from West Palm Beach, Florida, auditioned for the Farewell Season by performing “Careless” by Raelynn before judges Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez.
Brooke first auditioned for Idol during season 14, but was eliminated following Hollywood Week in the Top 48.
American Idol’s series finale airs on Fox Thursday, April 7, at 8 p.m. ET.
