Expect the unexpected on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG. A new trailer for Season 5 of the MTV show reveals that Amber Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier, may have seven kids of his own!
“Her fiancé has seven kids and she don’t even know about this,” Gary Shirley, her ex, tells a lawyer in a snippet from the season, just before the camera cuts to Portwood yelling at Shirley.
“I’ve been with this man over a year, I think I know him,” Portwood replies.
In March, the 25-year-old confirmed that she and Baier, were, in fact, engaged.
“We are very happy,” she told MTV News at the time. “I’ve never felt this way about somebody else in my life.” The reality star revealed that Baier had popped the question last November, and was televised on Teen Mom OG in May.
The single mom, who shares daughter Leah, 6, with Shirley, also requests joint custody of their little girl this season.
“I’ve been out [of jail] for three years and I’m sober,” she says at one point in the clip. “I want joint custody of my daughter.”
The other Teen Moms — Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout — are each still living the highs and lows of their own lives too.
In a particularly vicious spat with her mom, Debra, Abraham claims her mother is “a grown-up throwing a tantrum.”
Lowell, meanwhile, is on the brink of getting married to longtime love Tyler Baltierra, and Bookout is frustrated with ex Ryan Edwards.
