Cutting Them Off

During a 2014 episode of Don’t Be Tardy, the pair explained the reason behind the strained relationship with Kroy’s family was due to Kim already having two children before she married the football player.

During an August 2017 episode of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry, Kroy admitted he wasn’t speaking to his mom and dad because they did not approve of Kim.

“I've chosen to disconnect,” Kory explained at the time “It's about being supportive and happy, and not just saying it but having your actions match what you are saying.”

Alleged Wedding Drama

Kim claimed that Kroy’s mom and dad weren’t supportive of their decision to tie the knot in 2011 and even made an attempt to get the nuptials called off.

“We didn’t know this until after our wedding,” she revealed during a September 2018 episode of Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast. “They were at the wedding, but we found out two weeks later that they were in our driveway with a preacher praying against our wedding the day of. There was a circle of them in their family praying with their preacher and a pastor to block us from getting married that day.”
