Gotta love a bit of drama! The Internet had a field day in the wake of Calvin Harris’ heated Twitter response to Taylor Swift’s revelation that she wrote the lyrics to “This Is What You Came For.”
After Katy Perry seemingly responded to the drama with her own array of cryptic tweets (including a hilarious GIF of Hillary Clinton and a telling retweeted message saying, “Time, the ultimate truth teller”), social media users jumped online to have their say about the situation.
Those on team Harris took to Swift’s Instagram profile to bombard her account with snake emojis, referencing the fact that Harris accused her team of trying to make him look bad.
Swift’s die-hard fans tried to overrule the snakes with their own heart emojis, but before long the hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty was trending on Twitter. And the collection of celebs drawn into the mess (seemingly turning up at the party, thanks to social media users’ funny memes and GIFs) included Kanye West, Will Smith, Christina Aguilera and a host of others.
