Tracy Morgan has taken the next step in his recovery. The 30 Rock alum has been released from the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and has been transferred to another facility, his rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go," the actor's rep tells Us in a statement. "He and [fiancee] Megan [Wollover] wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."
As previously reported, the 45-year-old stand-up comedian was seriously injured in a six-vehicle car crash in Cranbury, NJ on June 7. The accident left the actor with a broken leg, broken femur, broken nose, and broke ribs, and killed his friend, 63-year-old comedy writer James McNair.
Morgan was initially said to be in critical condition following the incident. On June 12, his rep told Us it was "a better day" for the star, and five days later he was upgraded to "fair condition."
Morgan's fiancee has been posting messages to her Facebook page throughout the tough situation. "All your prayers helped- moving forward- stable & fair condition, but the journey continues…#faith," she recently wrote. On June 17, she shared a picture of Morgan and the couple's daughter Maven, 11 months. "On my mind…heavy #mytoobabies #myheart," she captioned. "Late but never too late– Hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day!"
