Loki here, doubters: Tom Hiddleston is for real dating Taylor Swift, contrary to rumors that their love is for headlines.
The 35-year-old British hunk, who received his first Emmy nomination for his work on AMC’s The Night Manager on Thursday, July 14, finally responded to speculation about his high-profile relationship with the pop star when he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy,” he told the publication. “Thanks for asking.”
The actor, who is currently in Australia filming Thor: Ragnarok, in which he reprises his role as Loki, added, “That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
Hiddleston and the 26-year-old singer were spotted kissing in Rhode Island in June, just two weeks after Swift split from DJ Calvin Harris after 15 months together.
Since then, the lovebirds have been spotted sharing PDA around the world, and they spent the 4th of July weekend together.
During her celeb-studded bash, the actor wore an “I [Heart] T.S.” tank top and a temporary heart tattoo with the letter T in the middle. Swift also shared a pic of herself sitting on her new beau’s lap.
Their relationship “has been a dream come true,” a source close to the Grammy winner told Us Weekly. “He’s so romantic, classic and chivalrous, and he’s doing everything right.”
In fact, a Hiddleston insider exclusively told Us that “Tom is planning to propose very soon.”
