Tom Cruise popped in to Hyde Lounge to see son Connor's DJ set

Tom Cruise decided to let his son do all the work this holiday weekend.

The movie star dropped in on his boy Connor at West Hollywood's Hyde Lounge on Sunday night, where the 18-year-old was booked as part of his DJ residency with nightlife group sbe.

Arriving after midnight through a rear entrance, Cruise rolled in with Adam Anders (who served as a music producer on his "Rock of Ages") and one security guard.

Sitting right beside the DJ booth, the 50-year-old actor drank sparkling water and engaged merrily with revelers and staff.

"He was beaming with pride," an onlooker told omg!.

The night out comes on the heels of his exit from director Guy Ritchie's "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," an espionage thriller that would have seen Cruise opposite Armie Hammer.

Tom is busy prepping the next installment of "Mission: Impossible," and, we suppose, would rather spend his free moments with his family … think of it as quality time with a last call.
