Hiddleswift, party of two! Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston held hands and looked smitten with one another during a dinner date at Gemelli, an Italian restaurant in Broadbeach, Australia, on Sunday, July 10 (Australia time).
The pair, who touched down Down Under on Friday, July 8, stepped out to dinner in casual-but-stylish outfits, with Swift, 26, showing off her figure in a low-cut patterned wrap dress and Hiddleston, 35, in a dark navy sweater and dark jeans.
“Tom looked smitten with her as they talked softly and she giggled a lot,” an eyewitness tells Us, adding that Swift’s skin looked “a little more sun-kissed than usual.”
“They were beaming as they gave warm smiles to onlookers, like any new couple who just can’t hide their feelings for each other,” the source adds.
The lovebirds spent about an hour at dinner before leaving the restaurant hand in hand.
Australian media has been having a field day covering the hot Hollywood couple’s every move, with the Today and Sunrise morning shows in particular breathlessly covering the pair’s arrival Friday.
“We’ve got a bit of a match made in heaven here,” Sunrise reporter Shaun White said of the couple as cameras followed the pair’s arrival at the airport and short walk through its hallways. “It was about a two-meter walk, to be honest. It all happened so fast, it was like a ‘Love Story,’ one of her songs.”
The couple, who first went public with their romance in June, have been frequent flyers as of late. Prior to their trip to Australia, where Hiddleston is filming Thor: Ragnarak, the duo also journeyed to England to meet the actor’s mother and to Nashville to spend time with Swift’s folks.
And last week, the pair partied at the “Wildest Dreams” singer’s Rhode Island estate for a 4th of July bash attended by some of Swift’s best gal pals including Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Ruby Rose.
