Bet she didn't see this one coming! Sheryl Crow shared a black and white Instagram picture of herself wearing an eyepatch on Tuesday, Aug. 6. "So this is what happens when you play tennis with your kids," she wrote in the caption. "Someone had a good forehand!"
The singer-songwriter, 51, didn't reveal which of her sons — Wyatt, 6, or Levi, 3 — was to blame for her "mommy injury." Judging by the smile on her face, however, the "Soak Up the Sun" singer doesn't appear to be too shaken up.
It's not surprising that she's so forgiving, as Crow told Us Weekly in 2012 that she's been teaching her boys about the importance of compassion. "We're blessed and not everybody is blessed," she explained. "We have to do our part and help the world!"
Crow — whose new album, Feels Like Home, will be released Sept. 10 — also offered sage advice for fellow single moms: "Don't sweat the small stuff!"
