Find him at Gate Nine and Three Quarters! An American Airlines employee, who eerily resembles Alan Rickman‘s Professor Severus Snape from the Harry Potter movies, has become the latest Internet sensation after the company posted a photo of the man via Facebook this past weekend.
“Severus Snape will assist you in the boarding process for Flight Nine and Three Quarters from LaGuardia to Hogwarts,” the airline wrote, alongside a snap of the Snape look-alike. “We’ll be boarding by Sorting House and are expecting a full flight today.”
The snap features the Snape doppelgänger (David Dolci, a gate agent), flicking his wand while an aspiring young witch prepares to board the jet.
The knowledgable Harry Potter expert from American Airlines joked about Snape’s historical disdain for Gryffindors, as he was a lifelong member of the House of Slytherin. “Our First Class Slytherin passengers can now board the Patronus Jet. Please let our Flight Attendants know if you would like a pre-departure butterbeer,” the post read. “Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are welcome to board next. Last and certainly least, Gryffindor and Muggles may board.”
With his jet-black hair parted down the center and a nose that resembles that of the Hogwarts professor, Dolci could have easily downed some polyjuice potion.
