Celebrities and fans weren’t the only ones sharing their sorrow with the world following Prince’s untimely death on Thursday, April 21. Several major brands and individuals also paid tribute to the iconic singer in respectful ways.
Snapchat created a “Purple Rain” filter in honor of the late entertainer — named after his hit 1984 album and cult-classic film — allowing users to add purple raindrops to their videos.
Google similarly turned its logo a plum hue and had animated purple rain drizzling down on the search engine home page.
Check out how a few other brands and organizations paid homage to the “When Doves Cry” singer on Thursday.
