Prince Harry's flying high!
The 27-year-old royal spent nearly two months in the United Stated for his apache helicopter training, but he also made time for a little sight-seeing!
Alan Purwin, President of Helinet Aviation in Van Nuys, Calif., took the spare heir for a helicopter ride. "He really just wanted to see Los Angeles from the air," Purwin told Us Weekly. "One of my people in my office asked me if I wanted to fly Prince Harry. I said, 'Sure. Why not? I've never flown a prince before.'"
Purwin took Harry on "a quintessential L.A. tour — over Hollywood, downtown L.A., Beverly Hills, through Century City, Santa Monica Pier, the coast and Malibu. It lasted for about an hour."
The hunky redhead "seemed to be enjoying everything he saw," Purwin told Us. "He [really enjoyed] flying over Malibu. He thought it was a beautiful community."
Although Harry is himself a pilot, his adventure with Purwin was just as a passenger. "He was more interested in taking it all in," Purwin said.
So was Harry polite? Absolutely! "I was actually surprised how low key and laid back he was. He was an easygoing, nice guy," said Purwin. "He was just like a regular dude… He's totally down to earth."
