Love on set! Pregnant Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie were spotted looking adorable together while shooting their Gotham series in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday, Oct. 23. Last month, the low-key couple confirmed that they are expecting their first child together.
McKenzie, 37, was photographed caressing Baccarin’s knee as she sat in a director’s chair. In a second pic, she appeared to be fixing his suit. She covered up her growing baby bump with a blue peacoat and scarf.
McKenzie and the Homeland alum — who have kept mum about their relationship — play Detective Jim Gordon and Dr. Leslie Thompkins, respectively, on the Fox drama.
As previously reported, Baccarin is currently in the middle of a legal battle with her estranged husband, Austin Chick. Baccarin filed for divorce this past June after four years of marriage and requested full custody of their son, 23-month-old Julius. (Chick alleges that Baccarin cheated, and got pregnant with McKenzie’s baby before they were separated.)
Baccarin, meanwhile, filed legal documents last month stating that she and McKenzie plan to wed. “Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry,” she said in papers obtained by TMZ. “Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant.”
