Keep on keeping on. Ozzy Osbourne says that he and Sharon Osbourne are “back on track” following his cheating scandal. The Black Sabbath rocker opened up about the state of his marriage while promoting his new History Channel reality series, Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour, with his son Jack Osbourne on Good Morning America.
“You just, you make mistakes, and you learn by your mistakes, I think,” Ozzy, 67, told Good Morning America’s Jesse Palmer in a pretaped interview, which aired on Monday, July 25. “It’s just a bump in the road.”
Jack, 30, interjected and defended his parents’ relationship. “As a married person myself, marriage is not like, ‘Hey, we’re married. All is good,'” the dad of two said. “I mean, it’s just life.”
Back in May, Ozzy and the Talk cohost, 63, split after 33 years of marriage. Sharon kicked the musician out when she learned of his alleged infidelity with L.A.-based stylist.
“Sharon found out about the affair by searching through Ozzy’s emails. She was upset that he was supporting this woman!” an insider previously told Us Weekly. “She and [daughter] Kelly [Osbourne] both called the salon repeatedly for about two weeks before the news broke, trying to get in touch with Michelle. They were really angry.”
The anger subsided two months later. Earlier this month, Us exclusively revealed that the couple have “fallen in love again.” Ozzy explained the reconciliation to Palmer.
“Some days it’s good, some days it’s terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while,” he said. “But you get back on the horse, you know.”
