Oreo fans, we hope you’re sitting down. The beloved cookie company is adding to its product line, and this time, hungry snackers nationwide won’t have to worry about missing out on a limited edition flavor. On July 13, Oreo will unveil three permanent flavors of Oreo Thins, a crisp, delicate cookie that offers a new spin on the classic snack fans have come to love.
Available in Mint, Golden, and Original, the Oreo Thins aren’t a diet snack; instead, an Oreo rep tells Us Weekly the cookie is a more sophisticated take on the traditional cookie and creme sandwich. (As a comparison, four thin cookies are 140 calories, while three regular Oreos are 160 calories.)
Oreo Thins follow the brand’s limited edition flavors S’mores, Cotton Candy, and Red Velvet-flavored Oreos.
To celebrate the latest variation of Milk’s Favorite Cookie, Oreo is distributing a one-time only “Thinvitation” on Twitter and Instagram on July 7. To get in on the fun, follow @Oreo and keep an eye out for the exclusive “Thinvitation” code to enter for a chance to win your own package of Oreo Thins.
Mint, Golden, and Original Oreo Thins will be available at major grocers and other retailers starting July 13, with each package retailing for $4.59.
