On Monday, Aug. 17, Nick Gordon tweeted for the first time since the death of his girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Though Gordon’s account is private, Extra shared the tweet from the emotional Gordon.
“I look at our pics sometimes it makes me smile sometime I cry @REALbkBrown #happymemories," he wrote. "I'm so happy/blessed that I had @REALbkBrown in my life. i will always & forever love you."
Brown passed away at age 22 on July 26. Her Georgia funeral was held on Aug. 1, and a second gravesite ceremony was held several days later when Brown was laid to rest next to her late mom, Whitney Houston, in Westfield, N.J.
Gordon was not welcome at either funeral. In a new lawsuit, filed by Brown’s conservator Bedelia Hargrove, Gordon was accused of wrongful death and for giving Brown a “toxic cocktail” of cocaine and alcohol prior to her being found unconscious and facedown in the bathtub.
“I am deeply saddened by the recent death of Bobbi Kristina Brown," Hargrove said in a statement shared with Us Weekly at the time. "I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count of wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown."
