He’s wild ‘n out! Nick Cannon is tired of rumors that he is feuding with his estranged wife, Mariah Carey. The comedian took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 23, to address critics who believe that his new track, “Oh Well,” slams the diva.
“Sorry to disappoint the bottom feeders but you won’t be hearing any diss records from me unless it’s about the GOVERNMENT! LOL,” Cannon, 35, wrote to his followers via Twitter. “How many times do I have to reiterate @MariahCarey and I are super cool! Stop trying to create negativity, we will never subscribe to it.”

Twitter trolls speculated that “Oh Well” was about Carey after Cannon released the song last week. “Baby girl, don’t cry / I won’t lie / Our relationship was a lie,” Cannon raps in the tune. “But, baby, some die / I guess we parted, that’s all / Oh well.”
Cannon and Carey, who is newly engaged to billionaire James Packer, split in 2014 after six years of marriage, and are parents to 4-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. The pair have remained cordial since their breakup, often celebrating holidays with their kids and posting photos of family gatherings on social media.
Like I have always said I will forever Respect and Love @MariahCarey and will never say anything negative about the mother of my children.

“We are both VERY happy and have both moved on, so all the outlets reaching for gossip, it’s not 2014 anymore. Do your jobs better! #OldNews,” Cannon continued on Wednesday. “Like I have always said I will forever Respect and Love @MariahCarey and will never say anything negative about the mother of my children.”
