NFL Player Johnny Manziel was pulled over for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Colleen Elizabeth Crowley, this past week, and he addressed it on Friday, Oct. 16, via social media.

A witness contacted authorities after reportedly watching the Cleveland Browns quarterback, 22, argue with Crowley, a Texas Christian University student. According to ESPN, the witness supposedly saw Crowley try to get out of the car when her boyfriend allegedly held her back with his arm around her neck.
Police subsequently stopped Manziel on the highway, and both the football star and his girlfriend confessed to drinking. However, police determined that they were not inebriated.
In the police report (via NBC Sports), Crowley claimed that her boyfriend pushed her head against a window. Authorities also saw an abrasion on her arm, but they concluded that it was from Manziel attempting to keep her from getting out of the car as he was on the highway.
Manziel wrote Friday that "everything is fine" now.
and when we talked to the police and they realized everything was alright and I was sober, we went home together and everything is fine.

His girlfriend also shared an update about the situation. "J & I are good," Crowley wrote. "Fortunately it was just an argument, it was private, and we are all good!"
