Um? Matt LeBlanc awkwardly hit on Emilia Clarke during the Emmys 2016 red carpet. The Friends alum admitted to the Game of Thrones star that he doesn’t watch the hit HBO show anymore, but that he’s well aware she strips down in the series.
E!’s Jason Kennedy and Giuliana Rancic put the two in touch via a split screen while talking about a selfie they took together in May.
“Who was the fan?” Kennedy asked LeBlanc during his interview on Sunday, September 18.
“I think I was definitely the fan,” Clarke, clad in Atelier Versace, responded during her own respective interview with Rancic, as seen on split screen.
Kennedy then asked LeBlanc if he watches GOT and things got weird.
“I saw the first season then fell out of touch with it, and then I guess that was when she started getting naked,” LeBlanc answered. “So I need to catch up.” Clarke’s reaction wasn’t shown.
In the Emmy-winning series, Clarke — who is once again nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series — plays mother of dragons and Khaleesi, Daenerys Targaryen.
The actress most recently went nude after defeating her Dothraki captors, emerging from the burning hut completely naked during season 5. Clarke told The Sun that to gear up for the scene, all she needed was a little liquid courage.
“All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready,” she told the U.K. outlet. “It was just a powerful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene.”
