In a rush to make their split official? Just two days after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Malin Akerman and husband Roberto Zincone have split, rocker Zincone filed for divorce, TMZ is reporting.
The drummer reportedly filed the legal documents in L.A. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. No further details regarding the drummer's filing are known at this time.
Multiple sources confirmed to Us last week that the Trophy Wife actress and Zincone split after six years of marriage. The couple welcomed their first child together, son Sebastian, just seven months ago.
"It's as amicable as can be, and they want to do what's best for their son," an insider told Us. "Honestly, Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It's a very sad time for her."
Before giving birth, the Swedish-Canadian star told Us back in October 2012 that she and Zincone were ready to have a baby together. "He's so excited. So excited," Akerman said. "We've been together long enough, we've talked about it enough that it just feels really right and we can't wait."
