Cheers to the host! “I love throwing parties,” Lauren Conrad raved to Us Weekly. The author of the new book Celebrate (out now) will use her soiree savvy as Us’ guest entertaining editor.
In her role, the LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s designer, 30, taught Us how to throw a charming, feminine bridal shower. One of her favorite ways to decorate the table setting: linen napkins folded into roses.
“When you’re throwing a girlie bridal shower, it’s all about the pretty little details,” explained Conrad, who married lawyer William Tell in September 2014. “One of the things that I like to have fun with is napkins, because they are already part of your tablescape — it’s not an added expense — so it’s a great way to kind of dress up your table.”
The Paper Crown designer also suggested using “charming” mismatched vintage china and “romantic” blush tones.
