What an emotional night. Lamar Odom was among the big names in attendance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 13, for Kobe Bryant‘s final NBA game.
Odom, 36, sat alongside his brother-in-law Kanye West for the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Utah Jazz, which also drew A-list fans including Snoop Dogg, Adam Levine and pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo, David Beckham and Jay Z.

Magic Johnson addressed the crowd and introduced a special video in honor of Hall of Famer Bryant, 37, who is retiring after 20 years with the Lakers.
NBA stars including Derek Disher, Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and Steph Curry all offered the basketball superstar their best wishes in the video, but some of the biggest cheers from the crowd came when Bryant’s former Lakers teammate Odom appeared on the screen.
“Bean, what’s up? It’s your little brother, L.O.,” Odom said, using their nicknames. “Just want to tell you I love you. You got a great career. I’m proud to say I was right there with you. Carpe diem.”
The pair have been good friends for years, and Bryant was one of the first people to visit Odom in the hospital after he was found unconscious following an overdose at a Nevada brothel last October. “He’s a brother, above everything else,” Bryant told the Los Angeles Times as he marveled at Odom’s miraculous recovery.
The Lakers’ No. 1 fan, Jack Nicholson, was also featured in the tribute video and told Bryant, “I think I may retire with you, I’m not sure. It’s been great watching you and I hope you enjoyed it half as much as me and my family have. You’ve been an inspiration to us all and L.A. loves you.”
