Turning the other cheek! Lady Gaga was spotted without her engagement ring while on vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico, just days before news broke that she and fiancé Taylor Kinney split.
The “Bad Romance” singer, 30, appeared to be in good spirits as she showed off her incredible figure in a pink one-piece swimsuit on Saturday, July 16, while on vacation with some of her close gal pals and her mom, Cynthia Germanotta.
While relaxing by the pool, Gaga rocked her platinum blonde hair in a messy updo and went without makeup. At one point, she tried to keep a low profile by hiding behind a pair of oversize white retro sunglasses. Noticeably absent, however, was her massive heart-shaped diamond engagement ring.
As Us Weekly reported on Tuesday, July 19, the American Horror Story: Hotel actress and Kinney, 35, split earlier this month. A source told Us that the couple, who got engaged in February 2015, drifted apart and Gaga decided to go on the girls trip to Mexico to “get away and get over it.”
Gaga has been keeping busy since her split from the Chicago Fire actor. Earlier this week, she visited a children’s foster home, where she sang a heartfelt a cappella rendition of her 2011 hit “Born This Way.”
The star took to Instagram on Monday, July 18, to share two sweet photos from the charitable moment.
“Casa Hogar Cabo AC. These young men and growing boys were as bright and radiant as the sunshine in Mexico,” she captioned a shot with several of the children. “A wonderful organization to give to.”
In the other shot, Gaga looked stunning in a patterned floor-length dress as she hugged one of the kids. “What an awesome day with some truly awesome kids.”
