The plot thickens. Kylie Jenner denied via Snapchat on Wednesday, November 9, that she’s the lead singer of Terror Jr — but her fans aren’t convinced.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star brought Terror Jr into the spotlight after she used their song “3 Strikes” as the soundtrack to her “Glosses” music video to promote her Lip Kit back in March. Last week, a fan then came across the rights to the song, and discovered that Jenner’s name is included in Terror Jr’s American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) registration for “3 Strikes.”
After fans got excited about the news, Jenner took to social media to dispel the rumors. In her latest Snapchat video, Jenner even subtly shades the group, seemingly pretending like she’s not even aware of the song.
“Hey guys. Public announcement: I’m not the singer of Terror Jr or whatever [they’re called]. I love their music, but for those wondering it’s not me guys. It’s not me,” she says in the video. “So, yeah, I don’t know if the band is trying to get a little attention or what’s going on, but it’s not me.”
Jenner claims that she wasn’t even aware of the speculation until her mother, Kris, asked her about the rumors.
“My mom just asked me if I was a part of this Terror Jr band and I’m like, ’Is this that serous?’”
