Keeping it all off the record. Filming for Keeping Up With the Kardashians will not take place in Las Vegas, Nev., where Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom, is currently in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital.
“As of now there are no plans for production to go to Vegas and film,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, adding that “Khloe is extremely upset and beside herself.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Khloe, 31, rushed to Odom’s bedside on Tuesday, Oct. 13, after the 35-year-old athlete was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and transported to the hospital, where Khloe remained overnight.
The reality star’s mother, Kris Jenner, and her sister Kim accompanied her to the hospital on Tuesday, and early Wednesday morning, Jenner, 59, emerged looking distraught. Kourtney and Kylie are currently in Los Angeles, while model Kendall is in Shanghai, China, for Shanghai Fashion Week.
On Tuesday, Kylie abruptly ended her livestream as news broke of Odom’s hospitalization.
“Had to end my live stream,” she tweeted to fans 10 minutes into the recording. “I love you guys.”
Kendall similarly expressed her sadness over her former brother-in-law’s critical condition.
“Please don’t go,” she tweeted on Wednesday.
Odom’s family members and kids — including Destiny and Lamar Jr. — are currently en route to the hospital as well. The athlete is also father to late son Jayden, who died in June 2006 at 6 months old.
According to Love Ranch South owner Dennis Hof, the former NBA star had checked into the Nevada brothel on Saturday because he “was just trying to get away from people so he could have some time to himself without the pressures of being who he is.”
“He was having a great time but he was a little somber on Sunday, but you know when you party all night…” Hof tells Us of Odom’s demeanor over the weekend, during which he “had a good time” in the VIP suite.
Odom was discovered around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon by two women who work at the brothel, Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry, after they left him to sleep earlier that morning.
A source close to the Kardashians tells Us Weekly that he suffered several strokes overnight, and doctors found significant amounts of cocaine in his system Wednesday.
“It’s not looking good,” the source added.
