Awkward alert! Kristin Chenoweth revealed to Us Weekly Video possibly the most disastrous date story ever in this new video version of her 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me.
“He asked me to bring a pair of my underwear just as extra, so he could have them. This was before the date, and I’m the idiot that went,” Chenoweth told Us at JCPenney’s recent “Get Your Penney’s Worth” campaign in New York. “I showed up and brought a pair of underwear that were clearly not mine, and I said, ‘Here you go,’ and he took them. And I said, ‘Give those back to me. I’m kidding. You’re a weirdo.’”
Other big reveals from the Broadway and TV star: She actually could have used an extra pair of underwear during a 1996 performance of Babes in Arms in Minneapolis, where she gave the audience a bit more than they bargained for.
“I changed from shorts into, like, a can-can dress, and I forgot my underwear,” Chenoweth, 47, revealed. “It was breezy. I’m hoping that it was just dark and no one saw, but I know people did.”
