Don’t get it twisted — Khloe Kardashian only has love for Ciara. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star backtracked on her comments about the singer and Russell Wilson’s celibacy vow via Twitter on Thursday, March 10.
It all began during Kardashian’s show Kocktails With Khloe. She suggested that Ciara and her NFL boyfriend “should be having sex” despite their commitment to remain celibate until marriage.
“With all due respect to Ciara, she has a baby. It’s not like we don’t know if she is a virgin or not,” Kardashian, 31, told her guests Alec Mapa, Vivica A. Fox and Cassie.
I love&adore Ciara! I respect her on many levels. Was freely discussing my views on celibacy&people twist & turn everything 2create a feud.

“None of us would know about it unless they were publicly telling us they are practicing celibacy, so who are you trying to prove this to?” she added. “Is it a look?” (Ciara shares 21-month-old son Future with ex-fiance Future. Ciara split with the rapper in August 2014 after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that he had cheated with a stylist.)
Ultimately, she was significantly better after breakup. The “Give Me Love” singer, 30, and Wilson, 27, have been very vocal about their personal decision to abstain from having sex since they began dating in April 2015.
The “1, 2 Step” singer has yet to respond to Kardashian, but the reality star clarified her remarks.
“It’s so frustrating how people misconstrue my words!” the Kocktails hostess tweeted on Thursday. “I love&adore Ciara! I respect her on many levels. Was freely discussing my views on celibacy&people twist & turn everything 2create a feud.”
When one follower tweeted that the star touched on the subject “in a respectful matter,” Kardashian replied: “People are watching an edited version and not from the show. That’s the issue.”
Kardashian concluded her thoughts on Thursday by retweeting a fan, who wrote: “I [thought] there was nothing wrong with your statement. It’s so horrible how people can twist things for gossip, it’s sad.”
