Oh, to be a fly on the wall! Kate Hudson ran into two of her former flings during the Super Bowl 50 weekend — at the same time. The Kung Fu Panda 3 actress mingled with Nick Jonas and Derek Hough at DirecTV’s bash at Pier 70 in San Francisco on Saturday, February 6.
An onlooker tells Us Weekly that Jonas, 23, went over to talk with Hudson, 36, in the VIP section around 1:30 a.m.
“They seemed to be flirty at first, and then it transitioned to a very serious conversation,” the eyewitness says. “They started getting very cozy and whispering into each other’s ear, even sneaking kisses and touches under the radar.”
The pair weren’t alone for the reunion, however. As Hudson and Jonas spoke for nearly 45 minutes, another of Hudson’s exes, Hough, was standing right next to them. The onlooker notes: “Briefly all three of them chatted and laughed about something.”
Hudson wasn’t as talkative with Hough at first, though. Before Jonas arrived, the onlooker tells Us that they “weren’t interacting at all” until Hudson began to dance to Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Around the World.”
“[She] turned around, and Derek kind of danced at her, and they briefly chatted,” the onlooker says.
As Us exclusively revealed, Hudson and Jonas began hooking up in September 2015. Last week, the “Jealous” singer was even asked if he was having sex with her.
“Kate’s incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful,” he told Complex magazine at the time. “Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”
Hough, meanwhile, was more tight-lipped about his romance with the Mother’s Day star in the past. The twosome were first spotted making out days before Hudson announced her split from fiancé Matt Bellamy in December 2014. Hudson and the Dancing With the Stars pro, 30, briefly picked up where they left off in June 2015 at a U2 concert.
