John Stamos won’t be serving any jail time following his June DUI arrest. According to multiple reports, the Full House alum’s lawyer pleaded no contest on his behalf in court on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
Stamos was instead sentenced to three years' probation and has been ordered to attend 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, as well as a counseling session.
As previously reported, Stamos was pulled over on June 12 while driving in Santa Monica, Calif. At the time, he was hospitalized “due to a possible medical condition.” While at the hospital, the Grandfathered star, 52, was arrested for DUI. According to TMZ, Stamos was under the influence of GHB, also known as the date rape drug. Sources told the site he was using it as a fitness supplement.
In July, Stamos checked himself into a treatment center for 30 days for substance abuse. "I've had a rough year with my mom dying, so it all came to a head, and it was a turning point,” he later told Details magazine in September.
