Yep, even Jennifer Aniston gets starstruck! In a new interview, the A-lister revealed that she was nervous about working with one of her idols, Julia Roberts, while filming their upcoming movie, Mother’s Day.
While Aniston, 47, has known Roberts, 48, for years, the Friends alum says that starring opposite the legendary Pretty Woman actress was rather nerve-racking.
“Because it’s Julia Roberts! My gosh, I mean, it’s a different thing when, you know, you get to sort of work with them and then you’re doing what you both do together,” Aniston told Entertainment Tonight at the Mother’s Day L.A. premiere on Wednesday, April 13, of sharing the screen with Roberts. “You know what I mean?”
Despite Aniston’s accomplishments in Hollywood, the Golden Globe winner admitted that she fumbled through her very first scene with America’s sweetheart.
“I even flubbed in the first, I believe, take,” the Cake star added, “and called her ‘Julia’ instead of [her character’s name].”
Mother’s Day is the first film Aniston has worked on since marrying husband Justin Theroux in a secret California ceremony in August 2015. The romantic comedy hits theaters April 29.
