Donald Trump's newest target? The 12-time Emmy-award winning sitcom, Modern Family. Tweeting on Wednesday, June 12, The Apprentice boss had hardly anything nice to say about the ABC show.
"Just tried watching Modern Family – written by a moron, really boring," Trump, 66, tweeted. "Writer has the mind of a very dumb and backward child. Sorry Danny!"
Directing the apology to Danny Zuker, the show's executive producer (whom Trump has feuded on Twitter before), Zuker didn't take the jabs lightly.
"Your insults need work," he quipped back. "Here's one I've been working on: 'Every picture you post of yourself is a dick pic.' See?"
Indeed, Zuker has not been a fan of Trump for months past. It started in March, when Zuker tweeted to the billionaire about how low Celebrity Apprentice ratings were.
"Talk about how you finished in 3rd place behind Family Guy rerun," he tweeted to the hotel mogul.
After more tweets, Trump finally responded to Zuker's jabs in April, writing, "I have never heard of you and was told you are a loser."
On June 12, their tensioned feelings remained.
In one tweet, Zuker wrote, "@realDonaldTrump Doesn't like the show I work on but then we've never tested well with the racist, hypocritical, multiple bankruptcy demo."
Trump rebutted, calling Zuker, "A lightweight moron who only gets attention by attacking Trump," and Zuker quickly responded, "Clearly the one thing @realDonaldTrump didn't inherit from his daddy was a thesaurus. #Loser #Dummy #Lightweight."
After the fight, Trump was onto to bigger and better things — tweeting about his upcoming June 14 birthday and responding to a follower who said he should've run for the 2012 presidency. "I should have, I would have won!" he wrote.
