The Democratic candidates, Jim Webb, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Martin O'Malley, and Lincoln Chafee, hosted by CNN's Anderson Cooper, have had their say, and Twitter is buzzing with reactions!
The crown for most prolific tweeter during Tuesday, Oct. 13's first Democratic debate on CNN has to go to GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who decided to live-tweet the entire debate, and had a few choice reactions to share with his followers.
Can anyone imagine Chafee as president? No way.

All are very scripted and rehearsed, two (at least) should not be on the stage.

Sorry, there is no STAR on the stage tonight!

One of Trump's chief Republican rivals, Governor Jeb Bush was equally scathing of what he saw on television, having already joked that he'd rather be watching baseball.
Sec. Clinton might be the only person who thinks the Obama/Clinton foreign policy has been a success. "Smart power at its best" Seriously?

Not that Clinton needs to lose sleep about Bush's opinion of her — as she's mustering some pretty persuasive celeb support.
Chloe Moretz, Rosie O'Donnell, Sarah Paulson, and John Leguizamo were firmly on team Hillary, while Regina Spektor and Mark Ruffalo came out in support of Bernie Sanders' policies.

Seth MacFarlane was more interested in CNN's opening sequence. "Hey CNN– your opening sequence for the Democratic Debate probably shouldn’t feel like a Mayweather fight," he tweeted.
Whereas Jared Leto was suffering from a spot of tinnitus. "Anyone else hear a distant phone ringing in the background? #DemocraticDebate @CNN #tinnitus? #tourlife," the Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars rocker wrote.
But it was Vanilla Ice who had the best take on the whole evening. When it came to the different parties continually going head to head, he had some amazing advice. "I think all candidates Democrat Republican or Independent need to all just stop collaborate and listen. HeeHee!" he wrote, in a nod to his classic '90s hit "Ice Ice Baby."
