Can’t trust a crop top! Dakota Johnson visited Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, January 25, where she sweetly explained the almost R-rated wardrobe malfunction she suffered while on stage at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards.

Clad in a black and white J. Mendel dress with cutout sleeves, Johnson, 26, told host Meyers, 42, “I hadn’t seen [Leslie Mann] in a while, so I hugged her like …” then tried to mime a strong embrace. “I hugged Leslie, and then my dress broke. And it was a two-piece, so my top almost fell off.”
To that, Meyers quipped, “That would have been the People’s Choice!”

At the awards, Johnson, who picked up the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress, reacted to the near-disaster with humor. Referencing her racy Fifty Shades of Grey role, the How to Be Single actress took to the mic and said, “Well, it’s not like nobody here hasn’t already seen my boobs!”
