When Corey Haim was confirmed dead at age 38 on Wednesday, the troubled actor left behind a generation of fans with fond memories of his performances on film.
The young star's big break came in 1986, when he played the title role of a nerdy, picked-on teen in the hit high-school drama Lucas, costarring alongside Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder.
A year later, he was a part of the ensemble in the vampire flick The Lost Boys, working with Kiefer Sutherland and, for the first time, the "other Corey" of the 80s, Corey Feldman.
He and Feldman collaborated many more times: including 1988's License to Drive and 1989's Dream a Little Dream.
As grown men, the pair teamed up again for the A&E reality show The Two Coreys in 2007 and 2008, in which Haim struggled with sobriety.
